Yeah. I remember my dad beating our dog when I was in grade school. That was his hobby: beating his wife, sister, the dog, and yes, me.

People that are mean to animals make me SICK! If I knew they were cruel to animals their character would be lacking big time w/ me.

Definitely. People who abuse animals are weak and pick on the defenseless. If you cannot love an animal, I don't think you can love.

How a person treats an animal could reflect on how they treat humans.With animals they have more leeway for extreme treatment for the laws are relatively lax.They could treat humans the same way but now there is a risk of punishment by the law.I tend to stay far away from people that cannot control themselves.

You can get a pretty good idea about someone from the way he treats any creature who's weaker and more vulnerable than he is, sure. This includes orphaned baby hedgehogs, by the way:)

Yes. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat animals. I'm not just talking abuse either. I think the way a person interacts with animals is closely tied to various personality traits. It doesn't make a person evil if they don't like (certain) animals, but I think it is telling, nonetheless.

yes. studies prove that those who mistreat animals grow up to also be child abusers, elderly abusers, rapist, murderers, etc. So, I think it shows that they have no respect for human life and it will continue.. I am not talking about those that just don't like animals..I am talking about those that abuse/neglect them

Clearly YES. People who are mistreating animals have a bad character. For me every aninmal is innocent and aninmals do not have a bad will.
