I did when I was about 4. I was headed for the hills I could see from my home but I realised I hadn't had lunch, so I turned round after about half an hour.
-
Yes I cut through the cornfields behind my house to my neighbors. I spent an hour there and my friends mom started asking if my parents knew if I was there. She made me call home.
-
No, I had never done tat. Because, i was so scared to do so.

I planned on running away to my grandmother's house one day when my sister was babysitting me...but I wasn't allowed to cross the street alone so I kind of waited 'till she came after me to walk me across but she took me inside instead... my poor family lol

When I was 13, I cleaned my neighbor's windows to earn money for the bus, which I then took from Denver, Colo to Albuquerque, New Mexico. My Aunt and Uncle lived there, and I stayed with them all summer, until my parents came and took me home for school. My Aunt made me call my folks the day I got there, so they didn't worry about me.
-
I packed my little Globite schoolcase and went into the backyard. My mother just left me there, talking to me every now and then, and asking what I was going to do. Eventually I came inside. I must have been only 5 or 6.
-
I have made attempts...Hehehe. But never actually set out on my own.

Yes... I packed a bag full of dolls and ran away to the house down the road and asked for a Mars Bar. Mum found me about an hour later scoffing a Mars Bar at the kitchen table!! Funnily enough, I don't like chocolate at all anymore! Must have eaten too much of it as a child...

twice! when I was 4 i brang my blanket and pillow to the pavement outside my house put them there and then i went back inside and got my favorite doll and top and shorts and just went back outside sat down and went to my nextdoor neighbor and said "can i come in and stay im running away"she immedietly picked me and my stuff up and said "being a little sill are we?"and took me home and explained it to my parents. Also when I was 10 me and my brother(who is 5)had enough of being told off so we packed are bags and walked 2 miles to this park and said "perfect place to stay we can live under the jungle gym"so we sat down we each bought a packet off crisp and an apple and ate it we stayed there for about half an hour after then my brother got hungry and called are parents to pick us up and we had a long lecture saying why we were being stupid!

Sorta, when I was 16 me and my step dad had a lot of problems. So I just didn't come home one night and long story short I HAD to go back. Looking back it was a good reason why I left, but it handled immaturely and I would never do it again!:)

Yes. My mom cut my spaghetti and that was so wrong. I was a big girl and I wanted to twirl it like everyone else. I was enraged. The nerve of that woman. I had a pretty good childhood...I didn't run away after that. I was very small, but I remember that.

All the time when I was younger, but just for the day or a couple days. We used to live in a house on land that was an old vineyard. Id pack some food and water, and Id run out into the overgrown fields 10 or so acres out, and just sit under the vines and smell the grapes. Thats the best smell in the world, fermenting wild wine grapes in late summer. I used to play in a stream too, and then Id lay out at night and look at the stars. I always came back the next day or in a couple nights. Sometimes I skipped school, but not often because I liked school. No one ever noticed, or asked, or came looking. Even though I had a messed up homelife and I wanted to run away for real, I knew better. It was a real bad area and if anything happened I knew that no one would come looking for me. Anyway, I had no resources and no where to go. So I just stayed put.

I thought about it but never attempted.

Yes, when I was in seventh grade. I was threatened by a few grade school peers. At the time, I was so easily intimidated. One said, "I will have everybody in the school hating you if you do not run away with Fredda". So, after school I got a bag and put a little silverware and some containers in the bag. Myself, Fredda and a couple of boys from the school walked really, really far to the forest preserves in the Chicago suburbs. It was dark and all of a sudden one of the boys was gone. He had gone to find a police car. They took us to the police station. My friend Fredda was a toughy. She sat in the chair still defiant. I thought my life was over. My mother acted like I was going to prison for the rest of my life.

When I was little I was mad at mom and got a stick and a bandanna...I put some article of clothing in it and was trying to tie it when my mother came in...she asked what I was doing and I told her I was going to run away...she said OK and tied the bandanna to the stick and kissed me good bye hasting me out the door....I thought she hated me and I cried all the way around the block back to the front porch and I sat there....an hour or so later she opened the front door and said dinner was done....that was my run away experience...

Yes, as an angry child and only for... an hour. I stayed in this wooded area I use to live by. I even forgot all about why I was angry and started collecting pebbles when my father found me and took me back home. ^^

I don't remember. I am over 60 now. I don't think I ran away.
