How did the Egyptians build the Pyramids without having the modern equipment and machinery of today?

I think a whole bunch of slaves pulled bricks with logs under them up ramps for a while, then they started to build the pyramid from the inside out. At the top, they put a golden pointed thingy, waited for the pharaoh to die, and put him in. But we can't move that much weight up a ramp. Aliens must've helped them out.

Technology is merely mechanized brains, and we have them, for our brains aren't not smart enough to do what we want to do. Every generation is slightly less intelligent than the last, and you need only to consider the partying mindset of our generation and how much intelligence it takes to get drunk and stupid. I don't think Technios was completely off based, but he was pretty vague. The Egyptians were infinitely smarter than we are today, and more so any generation after us. In the end, raw intelligence usurps technology.

I asked my tour guide in Cairo this question (she is from Cairo). She said that they did it by WANTING to do it. She stated adamently that no slaves were used.
