  • they took them and made them work at a chicken plant?? or they worked at the chicken plant before they "took" them??
  • I'm torn, because on one side there are people who are here legally who could of used those jobs to support their families, and on the other hand the "illegal aliens" come here to be able to support theirs...And I can knock anyone for that...My heart goes out to the ones who were sent back.
  • It is the law that they must be deported, but you can understand why they come in. Their lives are so miserable in their homelands. If the US would put more money into improving their home conditions, it would save money in the long run.
  • If they are here illegally, they should be deported. If they want to come here and work, they should do it the right way. There are way too many people who were born here or came her legally that don't have jobs, and though I understand that the illegals have families to feed, too, I think we need to take care of our own first.
  • Good.I know people(American citizens)who are out of work that could use those jobs.I'm glad they sent them back. They should come here legally just like my ancestors had to do.
  • now you have a responsibility to work in that chicken plant. america needs you.
  • Oh it gets better! Surely some of you have noticed hispanic work crews working on the sewer system in the Southside Batesville area. I was awoken yesterday morning by one knocking on my door. When I answered the door, all he could say was "Sewer? Sewer?" I put on a shirt and walked outside, where I found an American, who then asked me if I knew where the sewer line to my rental house ran underground. I asked the illegal to see his ID, which he produced immediately. I took a snapshot of his ID with my digicam, and told the American worker that I didn't like the idea of an illegal immigrant in my yard. The American worker made a call on his cellphone, and said someone was on their way to speak to me. It was at this time I noticed the MS13 gang tattoo on the hispanic's hand. (let that sink in) After going back inside and waiting awhile, I walked to my back door... to be greeted by two more American workers. One, a big burly man, immediately asked me if I was an immigration official... as he stepped up to get in my face with a rude mean look on his face. I told them I was immediately going to the water office to have my water service cut off, and that I would be leaving "Mexicoville". I did so, and upon my return just a few minutes later, I was greeted in my yard by about 20 employees of the Southside Water and the company they had contracted to do the work. A man walked up to me and immediately asked "Are you an immigration official?" I asked him his name, he identified himself as head of the Southside Water Authority (the emblem was on his shirt). He then continued to ask the same question to every one of mine "Are you an immigration official?" several times. I fianlly said I had the legal right to ask for this person's ID if he is in my yard. The Southside Water Auth guy then said that, because I rent the house instead of own it, that I "don't have shit." This comment was immediately reproduced by a man identifying himself as the foreman for the company Southside Water had contracted... and both him and the Southside Water guy began chanting "You don't have shit" several times... both trying to intimidate me by talking small steps towards me so that I had to back up. I said "fine, it doesn't matter anyway, I'm leaving" and then told the Southside Water guy he was selling his own culture out... and walked into the house without anymore contact. I then paid $17 for a background check on the guy I asked to see his ID... turns out his name and Social Security number belonged to an Amercican that died in Texas 6 years ago. I then called the Immigration Office (was on hold FOREVER) and explained my situation and findings, but was countered with "I'm sorry , but we can't come out there for such a little thing... we can't help you" Let that sink in a bit..... The chicken factories are independent businesses, so it's harder to catch them employing illegal immigrants, but the Southside Water Authority is a PUBLIC UTILITY!! Now realize that Southside Water Authority is using your tax dollars to directly increase the illegal immigration problem in Batesville.. isn't that prosecutable under the RICO act for racketeering? Who gave this Southside Water bully the authority to undermine the Constitution.. both in harboring and empploying the illegal immigrant, AND telling me that just because I rent the house, I had no authority to question who was in my yard? Independence County (of which Batesville is the seat) has been the home for MORE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS THEN ANY OTHER COUNTY IN ARKANSAS.... FOR OVER A YEAR NOW! How is it happening? The above is a big reason; The people with the money and/or power simply don't want to employee Americans when they have cheap expendable labor raedily available.. and they really don't care if it's against American law. They know they will never be in any real trouble over this. Myself, I have truly given up on Batesville. What was once one of the most traditional and conservative cities in Arkansas has become a haven for illegals.. and our community actually welcomes them with open arms. I'm heading to Missouri, where a statewide law just enacted makes what the Southside Water Auth prick did a federal offense punishable by prison time.
  • It will take a bit longer to get my order otherwise no downside.
  • Good they need to go back home. Why should they get to work in the Good Old USA and not pay taxes like the rest of us.
  • You don't provide many details but sounds OK and legal to me.
