  • In high school I sang "The Hours Creep on Apace," from HMS Pinafore. This clip's not me, but it's the best one I could find - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBwFrQsiq44
  • In junior high (waaaaaay back in 1984), me and a friend decided to do Abbott and Costello's "Who's On First" routine for the talent show. I was Costello. Considering all I had to go from to make the script was an album with the routine on it. I had to listen, write a line or two, pick up the needle, restart, write a few lines, pick up the needle.. etc etc. Once I finally had the script written, then it came time to practice the timing. Considering you basically say the same thing over and over, but with a different context, THAT was an extremely challenging but fun performance. We won first place, btw. :-) I think I still have that skit burned into my brain! EDIT: Oh crap, I just realized you said "MUSICAL" performance. My bad! In high school I was Snoopy in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" and I had three song and dance routines. Since I was a girl, we had to bind up my chest with ace bandages, and most of my routines were atop a giant, 5 foot doghouse. To sing and dance, with your chest bound, on a 2 x 4 was a bit of a challenge!
