I think implosion would be far less messy- are we talking about people here or anything?

An implosion would be nice if you're not in the submarine when it happens and an explosion would be OK too if your not standing next to the carbomb when it happens. "Im" means inwards and "Ex" means outward.

I think it would depend on where it took place. I wouldn't want to be in either though.
