I help my son with his collection. He has a wonderful set of coins and bills that my grandfather originally started. His collection is quite wonderful, from his uncirculated osztrák-magyar korona (Austro-Hungarian krona), down to his wonderful mercury dime set.

This is about 25 years ago when I had a collection of old coins and paper money. All pre-WW2 so 1920s and 30s. It was from all over Europe but mainly German Reichmarks. I don't think they were worth a lot. Had them valued and kept them until only 4-5 years ago when we gave them away to charity. Sorry, this is supposed to be a comment!

Every time I don't use my debit card I seem to collect more coins than I want.

I collect coins and while I am doing that, I'm saving and investing money because one of these days they will be worth a lot more than they are now.

Yeah I have four U.S. Presidential dollar coins and 9 U.S. state quarters. I have George Washing, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. For the quarters I have Oregon, North Dakota, California, New York, Kentucky, Maryland, Nebraska, Washington.
