  • You can ask your dentist for a referal to a dentist in the area you are moving to. Or you might have to suck it up and make a very very long way to have those checkups. I don't really know how this would work in Canada.
  • Pretty much the same way you have always gotten checkups I would imagine. I'm guessing you make an appointment with a dentist for a checkup, you show up to the appointment, then dentist will perform the checkup, that's about it, repeat as often as deemed necessary. I suppose if there are no dentists in the area you move to then you may have to travel some unless you find a dentist that makes house calls. I really don't understand the rationale here, to me it's like saying if I move 4 provinces from where I live now, how will I get my car maintenanced or...how will I get groceries? You'll do it the same way, except in a different province with different people. Your personal dentist is not the only dentist who was taught to do checkups for braces.
