Heater in tropical fish tank has blown,any idea's how can i keep water temp at reasonable temp till i can buy new heater for tank from pet shop in the morning?

I'd say keep your house pretty warm (like... 80? That's fairly normal here in Florida). Aside from consistently adding heated water, (which would probably send your fish into temperature shock) I really can't think of any other safe alternative.

Your fish will be just fine until morning. I wouldn't go more then 3 days without a heater,but overnight is just fine.

I would say turn the heat up in your house and you should be fine for a couple of days

if it is summertime where you are, you'll be fine... if it makes you feel better, toss a towel over the tank... but it will be fine overnight as-is...
