Listen politely, learn, and continue to hold onto the truth. Speak that truth "when in season", as the Scriptures say. You must learn what is being taught in schools so that you can answer questions about creation with confidence. I learnt evolution. I studied anthropology at Uni. It didn't change my views that God created the heavens and the earth, but it did give me a lot of information I can use when debating. I also learnt that science covers up quite a bit that does not conform to evolutionary theory. ;-)
