  • Not I wouldn't know the difference, we don't have badgers.
  • if it was a badger set you would beable to it. if you cant smell it outside put your nose up to the hole and you will be able to smell then. Why do you want to know if you were going hunt with a ferret they wouldn't go down if its a badger set. i hope that helps dom
  • There are a few differences major one is badger sets are usually shaped like the letter "D", about 8-12" wide. There is usually a large pile of dirt at a new entrance. You should be able to see the badger footprints around the set and often there is hair around it as well. Since the badger is a 'musky' critter, his hole probably will smell a bit rank and musky. I don't know if you are in the USA or in Europe, but there is a difference there also. The USA badgers tend to make quick holes and move on to somewhere else. But the European ones live in the same warrens for many years and there are often many entrances.
  • Badgers usually dig their is a capital D shape with another end for escape and rabbits are more straight with no other exit.
  • I wouldnt have a clue unfortunately.
