How long is the school day and school year, for grade schools and high schools where you are?

Both School and college day is generally 6 to 8 hours long..depending on the school and the board. School year is 11 months from June to April(including two instances of shorter holidays in between).May would be the summer vacation. College year is random.Starts anywhere from June to August and finishes in May or June.Colleges don't have regular vacations.Depending on the university they are affiliated to or their status as college/autonomous or deemed universities, they have their own rules:)

at my school in western montana, school day runs from 8:30 to 3:30. school commencement and closing vary from year to year but generally it is around the 25th of august, to about the 2nd of May or so.

in the sout high school is 6am to 3pm middle school is 9am to 4pm ( I think) elementary is 7am to 2pm (I think) I'm not too sure but I'm close
