I think it goes in that last whole that without putting a screw in it, they whole thing will fall apart. the thing is you should probably use a thing called a screwdriver or maybe a drill to put it in nice and tight so you can use your nice new item that has been purchased recently and thank you as well

Having leftover parts after an assembly of something is normal for me. I always just rationalize it by saying "they must have packed extras just in case". I cannot however bring myself to throw such things away. I have many. Someday I might can build a whatchamacallit with them.
