Um I called my dad's recruiting firm and it was "Push It" by Salt N Peppa... woa.

It isn't the genre or the musician that's bad, but rather the sound quality is annoying. In the past couple years, I've noticed that it always seems likes its "in between stations". Its reminiscent of a distant short way radio signal - echoey, fizzy and over modulated... if that makes sense. This is while I am on hold with large reputable companies such as, Apple, Disney, and Chase Bank. I am typing this while on hold with Chase. What's the deal?

They want to keep you calm and Kid Rock might jazz you up. They need you docile. There is a method to their madness.

They keep it "vanilla," flavorless, because people's music tastes differ so much. Music I might love is bad noise to someone else, and vice versa. They don't want a person on hold to go nuts with irritation because it's the wrong kind of music, so they go with BLAND.

Business with bad on hold music are doing the wrong thing. I suggest they should subscribe to music on hold service from reputable telecommunications company. _________________________ http://www.ringcentral.ca
