Considering the mass of the Death Star compared to the the mass of a Star Destroyer, I'd say yes. All things have some level of gravity, and since the mass of the Death Star is much more than that of the destroyer, it's gravitational pull would probably be enough to attract the destroyer.

I would say the size of the Death Star would give it a pretty powerful gravity well. When you also add in the fact that they have artificial gravity working on a station that size, that would make the external gravity well even more powerful.

Well, technically, the Executor didn't fall. An A-Wing crashed into the control bridge, and then it got caught in the Death Star's gravity well that was being used as a tractor beam. Since it had no working navigational systems, it got pulled into the well and crashed into the Death Star.

Im unaware if someone already said this but I believe the death star has its own gravitational pull. That is why the ship went into it. It was pulled. Atleast this is how it was justified to me in the past.

its the CONTROL bridge so its gravity field shut down and the gravity of the death star would pull it towards itself
