Beef has a much heavier flavor. I don't think it would "ruin" your recipe, but it would change the flavors for sure. Try to stick with chicken, or even vegetable (a better alternative to beef)if you have it handy.

Beef broth should taste fine.

I wouldn't use either. I would use the liquid I cooked the pork in. That adds so much more flavor. It's awesome!

Buy a can of chicken broth. its cheap. Beef broth will kill the original intended taste.

It'll work, maybe dilute it a bit with some water so it wont be as strong. Vegie broth would work a little better maybe, it is much milder in taste.

dont use any broth...that will ruin the tamal lol.. just get the pork, save the juices that the pork will leave once you cook ur pork...then shred ur pork...it will have its taste...and then from there make the red chile...which you will mix into ur tamal..
