Does anyone know why dogs get upset when people they know hide their faces from them?

It could be because the dog interprets this as being rejected as one of the "pack".Or rejection from one of the "pack".

Good question. I play peek-a-boo and they don't like it at all. I guess I should stop doing it. Separation anxiety thing perhaps.
