I distinctly remember being dragged off my pony or out of the dirt just to get shoved in a bath. I was not impressed and didn't take to playing with a toy while I had to be there.

With 5 kids in the family and one bathroom there was no playing around in the tub. You washed, got out,another one got in etc. and there was no changing water either. We were allowed to add a little hot water if you were the last one in.

hehe, I brought basically my entire toy collection in with me. I had a different toy in the bath with me every 2 days :D I do however, remember a little red fire extinguisher-shaped container thing which i loved :D

I had all the characters from sesame street. They were rubber and you could put them underwater and squeeze so they'd fill up with water and then they would shoot water at things. Those were great. I also had "My Little WATER Ponies" and I had these awesome bath crayons that I could use to draw all over the bathtub and tiles. Then it would come right off with water. Those were the days. I barely ever even take baths anymore. Showers = efficiency, I guess.

We weren't that rich! The floating bar of soap, the USS Ivory, had t'do. Somehow I actually survived the "great childhood depravity", living an extremely happy and productive life! :-)
