How can i transfer photos from my pc onto a blank cd?

Make sure it is a DVD-RW or a regular floppy disc. put it in the computer and find the file that has your pictures in it and copy it to disc. hope this helps.

can you use a cd-r to transfer photos on?

Burn it onto a Cd.Use nero or a program like that to burn and choose data disc.Drag your files in and voila.If its not a rewritable disc you can't do it on the same Cd.
