Who would win in a fight between a monkey with a knife and a grizzly bear? - my friends have been arguing about this for ages and i want to shut them up with a definitive answer

A grizzly bear could, without a doubt, eviscerate a monkey - knife or no knife. The monkey doesn't stand a chance.

Grizzly Bear. No doubt. It's a heavyweight vs a lightweight. Regardless of the weapon. You could say David and Goliath, but come on. Is God on the monkey's side? If you see a small boy about to fight a giant monster, who would you choose, honestly. I would have bet money on Goliath if I was there.

Is it a sneak attack where the monkey is trained by a navy seal or airborne ranger... does the bear know the monkey is coming? Is it a little knife or Jack Dundee's knife from the movie where he says "thats not a knife... Now this is a knife." The monkey needs to have more of an advantage than just a knife.

the grizzly bear would annihilate the monkey although it depends on species of monkey, some are pretty big and strong.

fact is the average knife is not going to do more than piss off a grizzly bear. even with a lethal wound the bear would still tear a monkey to pieces before it crocked. like the elephant that tramples the hunter before dying from the gunshot wounds. even the biggest monkey is just a little chew toy to a grizzly bear.
