  • I think you've got to move on with your life. They're both about 80 now;)
  • It seemed to me that a constant theme in The Wonder Years was that things didn't always work out as you wanted them or how you planned them but they nevertheless worked out. In that sense I think The Wonder Years had a terrific ending.
  • And you've been seething about it for years? Well, I like honest endings. And, if it shouldn't have happened, then, it shouldn't have happened. That's all. You can't yank a story around or else it will seem false.
  • You've held onto this for 15 years (Wonder Years 1988-1993)? Holy Moly! I thought Henry Blake (MASH) should have gotten home alive... That Hotlips and Hawkeye should have gotten together... That everyone should have gone HOME, met up with their old friends (Trapper, Frank, etc.), though the ending was extremely poignent. How 'bout all the shows that DON'T get endings, and will NEVER be "completed". GEEZE! Let it GO! LOL ;-)
  • With repeats, TV land, etc., I see why this still means something to you. I didn't like the way it ended, either. The whole set-up of that show was that those 2 would work thru ALL their trials and problems, and still end up together, as true loves. When they didn't, I didn't like it, either! But, I didn't like the ending of "Seinfeld", either. I think that the popular thing, recently, has been to continually throw "twists" into these shows, to keep us tied up and watching. While it WAS quite a while ago, I do agree with ya!

  • Geez call off your dogs people. I really doubt the guy spends every single second of his day brooding over a TV show. He's just discussing that he didn't care for the ending. I didn't either or is there some kind of statute of limitations to when you can discuss not caring for a particular TV show.
