I asked my dad because he is blind and he said, "It's over there. That's probably the most frustrating thing anyone ever said to me." So, "It's over there." He also told me about an ophthalmologist who told him to sit in a black chair once, which he is sure that he was pointing to.

Usually its difficult to offend a blind person. they have already heard it all. Then know they cant see. If you are rude, certainly that isnt good. But the blind can see in other ways. Ways a sighted person cant see. Their sense of touch is acute. They can smell all the smells. Their hearing is keen. And their memory is phenominal. They will just laugh if they hear some off the wall statement or question. Like: played any chess games lately? or where is your dog? or do you have an email address? LOL ... did that sound rude?
