  • What you are after is a game engine. Not a game maker. Game engines put the game together and is what makes it work. In order to make a game you need to know a few things. There is really no 'easy' way of making a game unless you are making something that has little interaction. The best gaming engines that are easy to use would be GameStudio for 3D games or Macromedia Director or flash for 2D games. However they both need programming knowledge. You can look up tutorials on the internet for this and there are plenty out there. Learning how to make a game on your own won't be easy...
  • I assume this is a very old question or you would surely have been pointed towards Mark Overmars' GAME MAKER software: http://www.gamemaker.nl/ Free to download and use. If you wish, you can register it for a small fee and gain access to extra functions - but the basic program is totally free and is BRILLIANTLY supported by loads of websites, tutorials, standalone and editable games - and now a dedicated book available through Amazon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED software.
  • First there is Game Maker, and then, if you want something that doesn't restrict you with its own game engine, try Brutus2D. It's a great game programming language for beginners that supports Object Oriented BASIC (believe it or not.) You can get Brutus2D here : http://pewtersoftware.com/wordpress/ and you can get read some easy Brutus2D tutorials here : http://www.gamedesignnovice.com/wiki/Brutus2D_tutorials
  • oh i dont know good program that is easy to use, but i know which one you may use (its free on torrent, but not in official sites): XNAge, Adobe photo shop (for creating object) and much more (check on google)
