It can be for some. The main reason being, they generally have a wider neck with less radius on the fingerboard. If you have small hands or short fingers, this could make it a little more difficult to play.

Yes- I've heard that. My brother play acoustic also known as folk guitar which involves strumming- classic guitar involves plucking.
