What is the best mini practice amplifier to buy for my electric guitar? (please take into account pricing, quality, performance and features)

    As answered above these companies make great small amps. Do not be confused that bigger is better. When recording an electric guitar, a small amp can sound awesome. Eric Clapton's favorite amp for recording is the Fender Champ.

    Crate, Peavey, and Fender all make reasonably priced practice units. Quality and performance all about equal at this level. In a pinch, for practice, you can play your guitar through the cd or turntable inputs on your home or car stereo.
