I personally put Elixir strings on everything I work on. I love their tone, and the coating on them helps reduce "flatness" from body oils and sweat.

For classical guitar, there have been some comparison ratings made by different people, and every one of them said that D'Addario Pro Arte strings were the best. I also used to like Savarez and Augustine, but I heard that their quality isn't as good as it used to be. Any one of these three brands should be a nice string. Don't go by what the preferred electric and acoustic strings are - clasical guitar is a different animal!
