I dont miss those 5am practices one damn bit!
From mid-November untill early January your uncle Kenny and i had to wake up at 3:30am or so every Monday through Thursday, sometimes even Fridays, for Bob Dougherty (Kevin's dad) to come by and pick us up for the ride to the high school where we would then join our teammates for the bus ride to Union College for hockey practice.
It's just too bad they built the Clifton Park arena AFTER i graduated!!! Now these kids have it easy.
