  • Assuming it doesn't have an adj. rod, if it has a fingerboard that is of different material than the neck, it is possible to heat the fingerboard with a neck iron, softening the glue that holds it. Clamping the neck in a neck jig and resetting the fingerboard may hold it. edit: davoo, these are tools that are specially made for guitar repair. if you intend to do a lot of your own work, I suggest www.lmii.com and www.stewmac.com for guitar tools and supplies.
  • Well a main reason the neck warps on a guitar is if you do not have strings on it and from the previous question regarding ukulele strings I have reason to believe that there may be no strings on the ukulele. On the neck of a guitar or ukulele the strings are kept tight and they also keep the neck straight when the strings are removed the neck will bend because there are no strings giving pressure to keep the neck straight.
