Peter once again pops a loaded question... An American, to someone from the United States of America, is a citizen of that country. To almost everyone else on the continents of North and South America, an American is someone who was born on those two continents. I made a mistake of calling myself an American when I was in Quito, Ecuador. One thoughtful man reminded me: Aquí, somos todos americanos. (We are all Americans here.)

For many, it is to live your life as you see fit, and to call yourself Christian, though this is but a superficial claim. Regardless of who says they are Christian and who says that they are not, we are still known as a Christian nation, for America has been a Christian nation longer than the time that has elapsed since the Bible was taken out of schools. Therefore, it is this pseudo Christian status that causes us to be attacked as the Jews by the Mulsims, for they hate non believers, especially Jews, and Christians are the followers of the most famous One.
