  • My brother and his wife raise rabbits to sell in a pet store, they never heat the shed all winter, even to -17C.
  • We've raised rabbits in below freezing temps outside, but we didn't do any breeding and raising litters in the cold. As long as they are dry and with no drafts they are usually okay, if they have been allowed to acclimate in that area. What I mean by that is, they should have gone through their big end of summer shed/molt outdoors, not indoors, as then they will be more suited to living outside.

  • They will be fine in a shed, infact a shed is best suited to bunnies who live outside. As long as they are draft free, dry and have plenty of hay ans straw they will be fine. You obviously love your bunnies... :-)
