Maybe all flies have the same colors, but we are seeing them in a different light

Maybe all flies have the same colors, but we are seeing them in a different light. But there are some flies that have more green in them, bigger in size, which look nasty. What have they been on???????

ummm...usually the green flies have been on dog feces, dead animals, and garbage
