All guys in my school seem to really like the slutty popular girls who aren't very nice and really loud... why?

At that age, guys are very worried about their own image. They may think it helps their image to associate with those girls. For most guys, that will lessen, though never completely go away, as they get older.

They're going through puberty, and sex is constantly on their minds. So, they are generally going to judge girls based on their sexual attractiveness. As they mature and begin looking for girls to have more in-depth relationships with, they'll see beyond all of the superficial stuff. I am sure there are some guys in your school that are more mature than others. Maybe what you're attracted to is being skewed as well.

Slutty girls = better chance of sex Guys that young sometimes only go for the girls it's easier to get with. You don't want those guys anyway.

I don't think they really like them. They may want to use them to "experiment" with because they are "popular" and "slutty". Therefore, the guys may think they are more willing to try new things. When it all comes down to it, though, they probably don't like them at all. Anyway, I doubt ALL the guys at the school you go to are like that. Perhaps you should pay attention to the guys who constantly get looked over. This answer is all my opinion, of course.

They may not actually "like" the girls, just would like to think they could get into their pants. Some people are stupid, and they forego personality for sexuality. That goes double for hormonal teenage boys (hormonal, in their own way). Heck! The girl doesn't even need to be good-looking. I've seen slutty girls who are fat and plain. They're popular, because they're an easy lay.

I agree with all the answers. But are you sure there's not a few nice guys at your school who aren't like that? Somebody might want to get to know you and you haven't even noticed them yet. Either way, stay true to your morals and yourself and your time will come.

Understand they do not "like" the slutty girls but like what the slutty girls will do for them...there is a huge difference in LIKE and Lust. There are some great guys out there that will want to be with an intelligent, funny, kind, and not so popular girl who has a much better rep than the slutty one. ;)

im afraid thats just the way things work at school,as a guy u can only go on someones phiscal apperance and your attension is automaticly drawn to the "loudest voice in the crowd",try talking to guys and u may find they like you for who you are.good luck

I feel like guys when there looking for a relationship, they want someone who hasnt had sex with a overly amount of people, someone who has a good heart and cares for others, someone who isnt looking just to get with a guy, a girl who cares more about just her looks... I dont know thats just how i am. Im a virgin and i plan to stay like that its not that im a huge christian and stuff... i just have alot of respect for myself and when i do fall in love eventually i want him to have me all to himself, so thats what i think guys want as they get older and more mature. as for most high school years guys are looking for the girl who can one up there friends... meaning looking for the hottest girl who will put out who they can brag about... rather than later they look for someone who is clean cute and respects herself...

We, guys, believe that if we go out with one of the 'slutty' popular girls, some of their popularity will rub off on us. But don't worry about it to much. I am 100% sure that by the time they turn 30, they will go from slutty popular chick to slutty ugly chick.
