It is neither - it is a continent of its own.

WHAT?!?! Europe?!? Australia?!? Do you know where Europe is? Or is it Australia you're not sure about? It's a good question as to which continent it's in, but it's not in Europe

Australia is part of the continent of Oceania, also called Austrilasia.

Niether. Australia is it's own continent, and it's own country.

Neither. Australia is part of Oceania, which is pretty much considered a continent, even if I don't think it has ever been "officialized". Aussies, care to help me here? :o)

Australia is neither. It is not anywhere near Europe geographically, although the majority of its population consists of the descendants of European immigrants. However, culturally, while it is close to Asia, it is not Asian either. Its aboriginal population is unique, with only a very distant DNA similarity to some of the aboriginal tribes of South India.

-
I don't think it's either. I think it's part of the continent of Australasia.
