IWhat's the best type of guitar to learn on for begginers? Is acoustic easier than electric? Or the other way around?

I would say that a basic acoustic is probably easier to play, but you should start out with what you want, in my opinion. Depending on what style of music you like and you want to play.

a basic acoustic with nylon strings its makes really good practice for beginners its doesnt really matter what type of music ur into its works for all its just easier on ur fingers when u try chords or scales

Come on guys. Don't reply unless you have some experience. Nike, get an electric guitar "start up package". The acoustic has, even in lighter strings, a much stiffer, harder string. Also, the acoustic is a much larger guitar(harder to get your arms around). The electric guitar will give you the most results with the least effort. Good luck.
