    You can make a stamp with a potato by carving the end into a shape you like and dipping it in ink.

    I've made pictures using different dried beans and lentils.

    I've made crafts with different kinds of macaronis.

    Of course there's the popcorn and cranberry strings for the Christmas tree too.

    Potatoes. I've used them to take the salt taste out of soups (not for eating) I've used them to remove broken light bulbs. I've used them in arts and crafts as stamps.

    A raw potato pushed up the exhaust pipe of a car will cause exhaust gasses to back up and make the engine run poorly. A harmless but funny prank.

    I use baking soda for cleaning and a cut lemon dipped in salt. I have used mayonnaise to rejuvenate a wooded bench. It's great for taking out white rings in wood furniture. I've used onion skins and tea/coffee to dye fabric. THere are all sorts of things to do with food.

    tooth past as a wall filler. vinegar as glass cleaner and antibacterial surface cleaner. Tang as toilet cleaner. and I have used olive oil for lubrication on squeaky hinges.

    baking soda helps to get stains out and take away smells as well,

    vinegar is good for eliminating smells and gargles as well !
