Something horribly cute and perky, interspaced with some "your call is important to us" drivel. If my call were really that important, I wouldn't be on hold!

If I had a choice, it'd be some Chris Cagle or Regina Spektor or Timbaland.

most of the time, its soft rock or advertisements for the company that keeps telling me that my call is important and they will have a representitive with me in (10) minutes.

When I was in medical sales, the majority of times I was put on hold I had to listen to the same song, some one-tone rendition of Let it Be. I love the Beatles but whoever came up with that version of Let it Be needs to be told to not produce any further music LOL.

The company that I call the most often that puts me on hold does not play music, they have a bunch of the lamest 2nd grade jokes being told by a guy in monotone. It is sad.
