What would you be more inclined to wear, white over the calf socks or ankle socks?

Oh, I much prefer ankle socks- more comfy. Longer socks keep on bunching at my ankles!

Ankle. I am only 5'4".

I used to wear very high over the calf socks but my fellow soldiers teased me to no end. "The 70s called and they want thier socks back!". I stopped wearing them. Funny too because ankle socks turned out to be far more comfortable.

I wear long socks with skirts and anckle socks with jeans... totally depends on the day.

Ankle socks...especially in warmer weather. With slacks, I wear crew length. I haven't worn anything longer than crew length since I was a kid...when knee socks were popular.

I much prefer Kneesocks,they keep me warm in the winter.In the summer I wear sandals most of the time so no need for socks!:D

I've had this argument before at work. I wear crew socks , my friends wear ankle socks and mock my crew socks calling them "tube socks". To me there is nothing more feminine than ankle socks ( I imagine the little pom pom on the back). Basically I wear crew socks, my girlfriend wears ankle socks or no socks. I couldn't imagine a world where me and my girlfriend share socks!
