I would suggest manual. The partition scheme I would recommend for your dual boot system is as follows: Partition1 = Windows (10GB+ NTFS) Partition2 = Linux (10GB+ EXT3) Partition3 = swap (roughly the size of your RAM) Partition4 = data partition to share information between the two operating systems (use whatever remaining space you have for this and it can be NTFS or EXT3) if you go with EXT3 you'll need this in Windows to access it http://www.fs-driver.org/
