I can't personally vouch for any of these programs, but here are some you may want to try: http://www.freewarehome.com/index.html?%2FHome_and_Hobby%2FText-To-Speech_t.html Speakonia, at the bottom of the list, appears to be the highest rated of these, so you may want to try that one first.

Well, If you had a mac computer there is a built in voice feature. You simply highlight the text you want spoken and then you go to your menu and click "start speaking". Simple as that! You can even choose what kind of voice you want to hear. I've tried it before and I didn't work as well as I thought it would as far as helping me memorize it... but it did help somewhat. I'd suggest trying reading the text aloud to yourself. If you have a winblows box then well you can try this: At freewarehome: http://www.freewarehome.com/index.html?%2FHome_and_Hobby%2FText-To-Speech_t.html You can find: DeskBot 2.0 SpeakOut 1.0 DSpeech 1.2 Sayz Me 0.5 WikiTalk TL 1.1 Speakonia 1.0 Try this too: http://www.bytecool.com/voices.htm ******************************************** Update: As scubabob mentioned if you have windows XP then you already have text to speech software built-in. I attached a picture of that option in winxp. just simply go to your control panel and click on speech. Hope this helps. If you dont have xp then you could try that software that was mentioned. ******************************************* **special thanks to crimson for finding text to speech software!

If you are running windows XP, you already have software that will do that. Have a look in your control panel under speech.
