a loyal and obedient creature that gives me their unwavering love and devotion. they could be cats, dogs, sloths, whatever. If the animal has these characteristics, then this is my favorite kind of pet.

I typically prefer my own pets... three dogs and two cats! I also miss a horse that passed away... He was an old sweetie that would follow me around the corral, not mooching for goodies, he just wanted to be close and you could see it in his eyes... <sniff> I miss him...

I'd have to say that I am very much a cat person. I love dogs but what I really love more is Newfoundlands, and not dogs in general. But I love just about any cat, even the hairless ones.
