Help answer this question below.
No. We're not France.
I find it funny that people (clearly Americans) feel the need to make fun of Canada because we've never had to defend ourselves against an enemy and all we have done was "help out" the winning side. Let’s look at what happens when Canada doesn't "help out" - Vietnam War - America lost! And now the war in Iraq well unless your blind America is losing that one too. As a Canadian I am proud to say we have no real enemies the fact that America hasn`t gone 10 years without a war since it`s conception should make you feel ashamed of yourself.
No one ever wins a war.Being in War, is itself a failure.
The first canadians lost every thing,
good question, but to answer it you have to think of which wars canada has actually taken part in, where we werent there as peace keepers. we took part in almost every major event since world war 2, and have not had to withdraw any troops for fear of defeat. even before ww 2, the only major war we took part in was the war of 1812, and as we all know, we were able to stop them from taking us over. there may be alot of people who will say that canada didnt exist because we were still considered a british colony until 1931 at the latest, so would those people say that canada wasnt really canada until then? so all in all, canada has really never lost a war.
Better Question
Has Canada ever been in a war?
Ha ha just kidding. I know they've helped out a lot including world war one and two. They're losing the war on good health care though.
It's losing the war on child poverty, at the moment.
Has it ever WON one?
(Just happening to be on the winning side doesn't count.)
I don't think Canada has ever been attacked by a another nation, so no Canada has never lost a war because Canada has never had to defend it's self..yet. Canada did participate in the two world wars and amongst other campaigns, although it wasn't required.
no...we even burnt down the white house a couple of times
Hard to do since Canada has never really fought a war...well, maybe they fought against the Mohicans and the Canada Geese but, somehow, I don't think those count
If you count the War of 1812, then yes, but I wouldn't count it, as Canada was still a British territory.
Doesn't Canada still use England's currency? Well no, but still a reminder.
No Canada has never lost a war. They have defeated the US twice, fought both World Wars from the beginning(on the Triple Entente and the Allied Forces sides)Currently in Afghanistan heading the Coalition of Nations. And I believe there are two others I`m forgetting in which Canada was victorious. Canada has the highest trained base soldier in the world. Equal to US Green Beret to scale it for the avg American.
Yes Canada has lost several wars starting with the French and Indian (I think they call it the seven years war or something) next was the American Revolution. Canadaarm claims of two Canadian victories over the U.S. I am sure one of them is in reference to the War of 1812 (one of the most inconclusive wars ever fought that ended in a stalemated treaty) From a strictly Canadian view there is some logic to that (and some against as well). The other I am curious about was he speaking of the Revolution because Quebec and New Brunswick remained Brittish. Possibly the Fenian Raids where American Adventurers attacked Canada and were rooted out yeah Canada won that but with help from the U.S. government. (if you count the small stuff the U.S. has racked up a 26-5-3 record against Canada) Next up the first Boer war but Canada has been on the winning side of every other conflict they have been in I would toss out everything as an actual loss except for Boer I, French and Indian, And American Revolution
Not officially, Canada has never lost a war. The closet thing was the Vietnam war, while Canadain goverment never joined in, some of the people did. A large number of Canadains moved to USA just to join the army and fight in Vietnam, which USA ending up losing.
