  • That depends upon the teacher and the pay. In general, though, no.
  • Beginning teachers do not. Once teachers have been teaching for awhile, the pay isn't that bad. (It is that great, but it isn't that bad either.) It just takes them too long to get to the point where the pay isn't that bad.
  • you must not be a teacher, you get your masters degree then work your way into a entry level job that will not even cover your student loan payments with parents yelling at you because their "little dear" skipped school to get drunk - lets not forget the little bastards themselves, they would rather be playing some slash & bash x-box game than do basic reading. all of this get blamed on the teacher, not the parent who is too busy to care about their offspring soapbox disengaged
  • it depends on what kind of teachers you are talking about. most teachers are underpaid though.
