How do i make a folder invisible without using the conventional show/hide method of folder options?

www.pc-magic.com download magic folders for your specific windows version. there are also mirror sites to download from. with magic folders installed, you can hide/unhide specific folders and files that you choose. it will be protected from accidental delete, since it will not show up in the folders list when start menu is right clicked and explore is selected. good luck

You can't really make it invisible, but you can make it inaccessible to other users, just by restricting the permissions with the Security tab on the Properties dialog. Then you will be the only person who has access to the folder, everyone else will get "Access denied". Obviously you need to lock your desktop every time you leave the computer unattended while others are around for this to work. You should never share a desktop with another user if you have anything personal on the computer.
