That people have missed the point about law and democracy. We delegate the power to make law to our elected representatives, assuming a democracy. We have the right to influence those laws. We have the right to seek to overturn them through the democratic process. We have the responsibility to challenge the law if we perceive it to be incorrect. I think "sheep!"

well it depends on what the situation is and who it is...but when i read this I laughed!

It depends on who is saying it. If it is a law enforcement officer doing his job, he's doing his job. If it's anyone else, I get the feeling he/she has a chip on his/her shoulder.

I hate to say that I say that often, but I do. I say it every time someone gets pissy when I card them for cigarettes or beer. It gets old having to be the babysitter for people who want to buy things they can't have yet. I can lose my business because some underage twit wants to party or look cool.
