What are your opinion's on Crop Circles? Hoaxes? Art? Or the doing's of E.T. beings?

I love conspiracy theories and the like, and I do believe there are E.T. beings out there somewhere, but I can't see them being here. Crop circles in particular are very cool, but they've been debunked so many times. I've spent hours searching through conspiracy theories on wikipedia. :p

I think some are hoaxs, and some are a result of the military testing of electro-magnetic/sound weapons.

I'm not sure. I'm sure some of them are fake and others may be something else...though I dont think they are aliens from outer space

the way i see it, crop circle break down in to at least three categories. 1st you have weird natural phenomenon. i.e. localized wind vortexes magnetic or gravitational effects and the like. 2nd there is the practical jokers and hoax mongers. 3rd it's possible that it is the result of covert military activity. i.e. top secret tests of exotic flying machines or other devices. as for E.T.s, first the odds of intelligent life existing at this particular time, possessing interstellar travel and having an interest in sneaking around on our planet. are pretty thin. it is much more likely that life on other planets, if any, would have either risen,fallen and disappeared before this time or have not developed yet. at this very moment on the other side of the galaxy primitive humanoids could be discovering fire or savaging thru the ancient wreckage of their post apocalyptic world like mad max.
