Do you think "Boosting" was born out of necessity as there became less active challengers or have people been cheating just to cheat and take rank?

LMAO... *This is a SUPERDUDES QUESTION* you must be looking for only 2 or 3 answers on this one Vixxy! Boosting has become a necessity in order to take high ranks. There may have been cheaters doing it at first due to high competition... but now a lack of active players has created an underground of boosters and it has become "the way it is" now. I will admit that I spent about 3 months on this underground, AFTER reaching level 8 (not before! :D )and there are players on this underground that I have personally seen publicly denounce boosting... but they do it like the others. This led to me leaving and all but giving up on playing in the MA. So basically just tourneys for me now, I have no interest in boosting to the higher ranks.

I'm gonna say the latter.. some people will boost so they can move up in the ranks faster with somewhat of a guarantee
