Is there a point when a female singer should try to work with a female instead of male voice teacher or is a good voice teacher a good voice teacher regardless of the gender?

I think a Female singer should learn from a Female teacher because they have the same qualitys.

A good voice teacher is a good voice teacher. Sex doesn't matter here. I would not be surprised to find out, though, that there are more female voice teachers than men. (I don't know that for a fact... Just saying I wouldn't be surprised.)

Female teachers,generally,don't mingle their love and/or money affairs with the lessons!

I guess a good voice teacher is a good voice teacher. I kind of liked having a voice teacher with the same voice type as me to demonstrate, though. If your voice teacher has a similar voice to you they can show you exactly how to do things by doing it.
