  • At least 17,000 for a very simple and easy job. From $25,000 upwards for technical fields. For myself I would require at least $30,000.
  • I guess this means that small business owners better operate the business alone.
  • Enough to pay your bills, certainly. It would depend upon the amount of education needed to get that job..(a job requiring a Ph.d ought to pay more than one requiring hamburger-tossing skills). :)
  • I hire and fire for one of the two big water companies in the US (the one not owned by Nestle). Entry level means a person never worked a job before. We believe that a person should earn enough to support himself. However, every time minimum wages rise, there becomes less incentive for people at the higher ranks to do a better job, since the new hires are getting what the older ones were getting after five years. Los Angeles has what is called a "living wage." At present, this is about 1-1/2 times minimum wage. Technically, we only have to pay that to those who live within the city limits of Los Angeles. But we do it for everyone. The only way we are able to hire more people at the present time is hire part time people. It's sad, but we all feel the pinch.
  • depends on the field, the skills needed, size of company, many diff variables, you need to convince me 1st why i should hire you, and why you're worth whatever salary u want
