There needs to be more to the "friends" feature - like an ability to IM or email or something if each person so chooses. And there needs to be just one section for people to just chit chat or make statements and have actual conversations without asking questions. I have met a few great people here and I feel like the only time I can chat with them is if we run into each other on a question and then we just exchange a few comments. A site like this where relationships DO get established needs to have something to nuture that. Ok.. that was two things but they were related. ;)

Take away the down rating, it is useless, and some people use it to exact revenge on others. If they dont like what you say, they can leave a comment. If is offensive, there are flags.

I would like a cross reference system where we could type in multiple users' names and get a list of all the questions/answers where they appear together. I'd also like to be able to use a key word search for answers like we can questions. I wouldn't change the community aspect of AB.

I agree with Sweet T totally ...its what I have been saying for a long long time...it would take out the trolls in one hit!

I have only been here since March 13th. too early to tell but from what I have seen I would say that Friends Q&A should light up when there are pending matters, it would help not to forget checking them. I would also like to see a Community Guideline that is clear enough for everyone to understand, the TOS is generally on legal issues. Regards.
