My backyard, or the neighbors, or grandma's..they were huge and full of fruit trees, raspberry bushes and apple trees.

We used to play in the fields around our home when I was home At school we always had plenty to do in after lesson hours.

The schoolground, the empty lot across the street, the wooded area behind one of my friends houses.

The neighborhood... We played tag, war & Cowboys and Indians (as in "Combat!" and "Wagon Train", "The Rifleman", etc.), hide-and-seek, various combinations of games, "Carom" on the front porch, "Ripcord" (jumping off the porch or out of trees), Wiffle Ball, Baseball (with tennis balls), etc.

On place where my neighbor friends and I played was the graveyard down the road. We made up Nancy Drew mysteries.

My friends attic, the little woods behind my house and the street.

the neighbourhood, with all the neighbourhood kids .. the moms pretty much let us run wild .. oh and our cottage at the time, i thought it was the most magical place :)

Ages 8 through high school: Baseball field, bowling alley and basketball court (and I am a white man that can't jump:).

We always played in the woods. Both grandmother's house had great huge woods behind them.

I always like the library. There was a playground right outside the library, but I was very sickly, and couldn't really go on the rides. I liked to sit on the library patio and read and watch the other kids play.
